Terms and Conditions

Orders:

Offline

  • Orders can be placed by text (SMS or Whatsapp) or email. Askies, phone calls are a no-go. Kindly introduce yourself in your order 🙂
  • We will then respond with a quote and furnish banking details.
  • The order will only be processed once proof of payment has been received. You know mos: fak’imali uzobona.
    • for EFT payments: Proof of payment should be emailed, to hello.piecesoflife@gmail.com. Use your name as the reference.
    • For cash on collection, please pre-arrange.

Online

  • The order will only be processed once proof of payment has been received. Again: fak’imali uzobona.
    • for Payfast payment gateway payments, Payfast will provide us with the proof of payment so no stress.
    • for direct EFT payments: Proof of payment should be emailed, to hello.piecesoflife@gmail.com. Use your the Order ID as the reference.

Processing time and deliveries:

  • Each order is carefully inspected, wrapped and packaged before shipment.
  • Orders will be processed within 1- 2 days of receiving proof of payment.
  • Orders are open for South African residents only as we only deliver in South Africa. However, should you have an international order, feel free to get a friend/family member to collect on your behalf or have it delivered to them and you guys make a plan to get it to you. Just an idea.

Shipping

  • Delivery is usually within 2-3 business days from despatch, but can be up to 5 business days. We use Fastway Couriers .You will receive a tracking number and can track the progress of your delivery on their website here.
  • Courier fees are subject to change without notice. We will however update you should they change.
  • Should you need more urgent delivery or prefer to organise your own courier, please contact us with your request.

Collection

  • Collections are by arrangement and from Enterprise Road, Fairland, Gauteng.
  • As much as we love doing this, we will not accept any collection scheduling over weekends nor after business hours.

Returns and refunds:

  • We take great care to provide our customers with a pleasurable experience and exceptional quality. Hence our inspection of each order to ensure your goods are clean, in good condition and carefully packaged.
  • If you are not happy with the product, so much so that you would like to return it or exchange it, please inform us within 2 weeks of receiving your goods. Please take photos of the problem and include them in communication.
    • We will then be in contact with you to discuss the issue and way forward.
    • If it is our fault, we will arrange the return. Please ensure the unused goods are in the condition you received them.
    • If the fault is yours (e.g. you ordered the wrong thing), please arrange the return, with the goods in the condition you received them.
    • If the 2 weeks passes, we will assume all is well. Thereafter, we will not be able to assist you with a refund nor exchange.
  • Imperfect (but still good) goods on sale will be listed as such and are sold voetstoots. So, unfortunately, no returns on those.
